I have spent some more time today getting back to where I was yesterday, and then working on the transcript. Eventually when I start to post these, I will be posting the video and the transcripts together. I haven’t figured out yet how to re-label “Speaker 1”, or whether it can be relabeled directly. I’m reposting the video above the transcript as well. The transcript covers more than the sample video did.

My dear Joanne, here I've been railing on for half an hour to 40 minutes. And evidently the tape thing wasn't on the right one, or on the wrong one, and it was running around and I didn't even know it, nothing was working. Here I thought I had half the tape done and I didn't have anything. Very, very discouraging. I guess maybe that's why I don't like this tape recorder,

Speaker 1
I can't tell when it's not working. Just a minute. Well, today is Monday, 20th of September, 1976. Well, let's try once more. It’s very discouraging. Now, let me see. I just finished listening to your tape and we'll try and answer some of the questions. First, about the trailer. It is parked in Cassopolis, I think. At the Maple Grove trailer Park.

And as far as I know, the skirting is under it and the awning is up, also. At least Mary said it was going to be set up. So this is what I assume was done. As far as the stool is concerned, they it evidently wasn't as bad as what she had told me, because when I said something to her about it, she said that they just put some kind of a glue or something on it and it worked.

And they didn't have to repair or, you know, get a new one. And they didn't have to the carpet didn't have to be moved or anything else be done. I guess sometimes she gets a little more alarmed than necessary. I have warned her repeatedly about the dryer. From what I understand, I guess John does most of the I shouldn't say most, but a lot of the washing and drying.
00;02;08;12 - 00;02;44;23
Speaker 1
And and I told her she did small loads and did them once or twice a day, or wash one in the morning, one in the evening, things would be a lot better. They wouldn't stack up. They seem to be getting along better than they were. Whether they are or not, I guess they have their ups and downs like everyone. I also told her that by the time you got home that they would have to make up their mind about, you know, buying it because you would need the money for a car.
00;02;44;25 - 00;03;18;23
Speaker 1
And I told her that before she ever took it. So that's the way it is. Number two, about the car, as I told you it’s a 72 or 74 Mustang II, which is the smaller version. No, it does not have air conditioning. It is white with a maroon interior. I happen to know the girl who owns it. She lives next to Sally.

Speaker 1
In fact, I knew her when she was a very small child, when she was in grade school, an absolute immaculate person. The car is you could not tell it from brand new. I think it has approximately 16,000 miles on it now. No dents, no scratches, no marks. The inside is like new. I imagine you could have an air conditioner put in it.
